We were looking for something different when fish and chips are not going to satisfy. We found this friendly restaurant with good portions and attentive service. Thank you for the… read more amazing meal.
9/10
Good environment with good food. Love the Space of the restaurant, food was authentic and deliciou. Love to go again
Portion was small and pricey with 10% service charged on top. Okay it’s Paddington so £40 for 2 (small) biryanis, a naan and 2 soft drinks is maybe the going… read more price.
The restaurant is tatty inside, paint missing on walls, dirty old ceiling tiles. In need of a good clean and refurb. Smells damp in the back. Had chicken biryani, it was not what a proper Indian biryani should be. It looked and tasted like a mildly spiced rice with some chicken breast chunks added. Would definitely not go back. Good thing is the location but there are lots of other restaurants arond.
dont bother going during covid, no NHS test and trace QR…dangerous and should have been closed by council
I’m often in this area staying for work, and although my company provides meals at our hotel for me, I always go here for my curry fix. I’m here a… read more couple times a month & is really good value. The food is delicious can recommend the chicken chilli masala. Also the mushroom Bhaji is amazing. I’ve eaten here on my own many times. It’s always busy & the staff are excellent, so friendly & helpful. Yes, the decor could probably do with an overhaul but expect higher prices to match!
It’s clean & at the back there are notices to say that work is starting imminent. As another reviewer stated if you have mobility issues you may want to avoid. The toilet stairs are extra steep & could be an issue. But the food is great & I have also visited when not on business and my husband and I are in the area.
Very dirty and tired environment. Food very average or below average. The starters were lukewarm and the chicken madras very bland and not spicy. The paneer korai was better but… read more still just average overall. We sat at the back and the walls are absolutely filthy and the carpets are disgusting. Would not recommend to anyone and won’t be going back.
Our last night in London for a city break as a family and we wanted a meal close to the hotel. We checked out the reviews of this place, that… read more we can see from the front door, and were not disappointed. The staff were great with the kids and the food was lovely. One of the best jalfrezis we have had. Highly recommend this little gem just off the beaten track!
My Husband Jeremy and Me Enjoyed Our Visit Again, we both had some Papadums and then the soup, very nice. For Main Course we had Saag Paneer and Bhindi Bhaji… read more (though the Bhindi Bhaji nice it could’ve done with more sauce)
On the evening we visited it was crowded
On the whole a good meal and a good restaurant, we look forward to visiting again, thanks
We recommand the Dal Tadka! It is a good place for vegetarians… The service is very friendly and makes you feel home.
Very friendly staff. Good service.
Food here is like ‘4 stars’, and food + service makes it ‘5 stars’.
Some say the environment is a bit ‘tired’, but we… read more didn’t get any bad stomach from the food.
I’d say this little restaurant is way better than some overrated pubs (environment, food, and service).
Hot food at the correct temperature.
The chicken karahi (extra hot) tastes of herbs and tomatoes I think, but it matches really well with the chicken. The chicken vindaloo… read more is mainly spicey sauce with chicken pieces and potatoes, which is what the menu says. The chicken from the karahi is slightly drier than the chicken from the vindaloo, but both are in good spicy sauce.
Overall, everything is as expected, and it also tastes quite nice. The spicy chicken is good.
Great meal. Loved the biryani, vegetable curry, mixed tandori. So good. Loved the cobra beer too. staff seriously hussled with how busy they were.
A hidden gem. Delicious food. Came here for dinner with a friend. I thoroughly enjoyed my King Prawn Jalfrezi and my friend enjoyed their Lamb Vindaloo! Service excellent. The restaurant… read more is down-to-earth. Food arrived piping hot and packed with flavour. Glad to have discovered this place! Will be back soon!
Arrived in London in july 1st. to go and See Adele on saturday, we checked reviews on Mughal‘s and decided to go there on friday.
The food was fantastic, staff… read more extremely kind!
We reserved a table for sunday and were not dissapointed!!

Its not indian food,Food qulaity is not maintained, very small place,Staffs are over smart,They should remeber its fine to suggest but not to imply anything on customer,They ask put additonal charges… read more in the bill so carfeully observe the bill.
I would not recomend the place where the trust of customer is broken.
We have stayed in the same hotel in Paddington several times and can’t believe this Restaurant was on our doorstep, 5 min from our hotel. It was amazing. Food and… read more service were 5* and so reasonable, same price we pay for our local in Somerset, unbelievable for London. Portions were plenty and came very quickly, piping hot.
Our go to now when we next visit.
Really tasty Indian food (chicken tikka misala and saag aloo), fair prices for quality and quantity of food, and satiating portions.
Ordered on Deliveroo, so can’t comment on… read more the service or restaurant ambiance.
Would recommend if you’re craving Indian cuisine, and would order from them again.
We chose this place because of the reviews and close location to our hotel. Our family of four all enjoyed our meals-butter chicken, chicken tikka masala and lamb korma with… read more the usual rice, naan etc. Price was good, service good (it was very busy) and food perfect. I called to say we were going to be late and they kindly held our table despite being very popular. Great!
Very good Indian food. Fresh and delicious. I recommend it. It’s always full of people. Don’t miss it.

Welcomed into nice warm environment with a smile. We were advised there was seating at the back but chose to seat just opposite the bar, tables are close together but… read more not a hinderance. Did not have a starter but had some popadoms and chutneys and they were very nice. The vegetable curry was just as requested and the chilli chicken was madress spice level and just right. The Naan though, they were delicious ! Fresh and just nice. Overall a great experience, I would make a point of going back.
Really cosy place with inviting food. The portion sizes are good (decent sized curry, no mountains of rice). Food is tasty, fresh and not greasy. The prices are very reasonable… read more indeed especially for the location. The staff are helpful and friendly and on top of it all. They are also really good with allergens. Lots of gluten free choices.
Had a brilliant meal here with a friend. We really enjoyed our starters and mains; best Indian food I have had in a long time. Initially the restaurant wasn’t too… read more busy but we were dining early. The place was soon full though. Service was friendly and fine to say how busy it was. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I would definitely visit again if I was ever in the area.
We all loved the food. We had six different dishes and everything was really good. Will be back for sure!
We stopped in for a quick dinner after a long day of touring and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We had vegetable samosas, lamb pasanda, lamb tikka with curry sauce and… read more cheese naan. My favorite was the lamb pasanda and it was my first time having it. Similar to a korma sauce but richer. I’ve seen comments about the staff not being friendly, but that wasn’t our experience at all — they couldn’t have been nicer! Free wifi, too, was a bonus for us as tourists.
Amazing food and staff!! After a day of touring London, this place really brought the comfort food and warmth we needed!
Fantastic Food and very good prices. The restaurant was very nice and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was very busy, lots of people coming in all… read more the time we were there. The food had a lovely flavour and you tell it was freshly cooked. Fabulous place. Would recommend.
