Been coming here for the last three years Fantastic Indian food and staff are very helpful and friendly we will definitely be back again
Fab traditional Indian cooking. Wine was good which often is not in a traditional Indian Restaurant. Excellent staff – kind and good fun to interact with.
Very dirty and tired environment. Food very average or below average. The starters were lukewarm and the chicken madras very bland and not spicy. The paneer korai was better but… read more still just average overall. We sat at the back and the walls are absolutely filthy and the carpets are disgusting. Would not recommend to anyone and won’t be going back.
Went with my husband and my 3 kids for dinner, very good food ! The service was perfect very gently and kind.
Enjoyed a dinner at Mughals while in London. Had read many reviews that said the food was great and we agree. Ordered chicken tikka masala and lamb vindaloo and samosas… read more and all was delicious. We had also read that the restaurant was not the prettiest, I remember one reviewer saying it was “a bit tatty”. I would agree but add that the front room looks ok/average, but we ate in the back room and that was firmly tatty. But if you like good food and choose it over ambiance this place is for you.
Pretty standard Indian restaurant; it’s not that big so the tables are fairly close together; standard decor! It was Saturday night, and even being by myself I was lucky to… read more get a table.
Service was good, friendly enough but they don’t have too much time for you as they are so busy. However, service was quick and accurate.
I had poppadoms with pickles (obviously); the pickles were a bit thin. Then Chicken Dopiaza with mushroom bhaji, pilau rice and a naan bread. Dopiaza sauce was tasty and thick, but the big chunks of onion were a bit too crunchy for me. The rest was all good.
So a decent meal, not outstanding; I would go there again if in the area.
A tiny bit out of the way, and unassuming from outside, this place was a gem. They had a good variety, but not overwhelming. The staff were fast and friendly… read more and helpful. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. And the price was reasonable. Will definitely eat there again!
Very warm welcomed and served with professionalism. Following all guidelines with care and responsibility.Everything was very clean, traditional and compact.Had great time and food had pure authentic Indian taste and… read more flavours. Highly recommended :))
Hot food at the correct temperature.
The chicken karahi (extra hot) tastes of herbs and tomatoes I think, but it matches really well with the chicken. The chicken vindaloo… read more is mainly spicey sauce with chicken pieces and potatoes, which is what the menu says. The chicken from the karahi is slightly drier than the chicken from the vindaloo, but both are in good spicy sauce.
Overall, everything is as expected, and it also tastes quite nice. The spicy chicken is good.
Wonderful food but the service was really phenomenal. Arrived after a long day to such a lovely welcome. Away with work and on my own but it never felt that… read more way. Great find next to hotel indigo. Thanks for a lovely evening
In London for work and found this place near my hotel. Having read some recent reviews decided this was my place to eat for the night. I ordered fish pakora,… read more mixed tandoori main with masala sauce( extra charge) and Chapati and large bottle of beer. So all good up to now until my fish pakora arrived, let’s say I was shocked and very disappointed. What I got was fish in breadcrumbs no spice no pakora batter, how any decent Indian could serve this as pakora is beyond me. Onto the mains and the two pieces of lamb were nice the kebab was nice however the tandoori chicken was dry stringy and tasteless and the chicken on the bone was ok. What I would say is that I have had a lot better at most Indians I have visited and unlike most of my other reviews I wouldn’t recommend a visit to this restaurant better try and find somewhere better.
Been here twice now and not let down, delicious food at a great price and excellent customer service, would go back.
Returned to dine there, so it says it all. Variety, flavor and tasty Indian dishes. A feeling of local-neighborly restaurant.
Sometimes you need to wait a bit for your food… read more to arrive.
Recommend to the owner to offer more kinds of beer.
Came here after looking at reviews for an Indian meal
We love going to Indian restaurants
And we wasn’t disappointed
They made my Dhansak perfect
Full… read more off favour , the chicken was really fresh and tender not tuff
If I had to say anything personally I’d off liked some pinapple pieces or a ring in with the dish
But the taste was awesome
My partner had chicken rogan josh and he loved his
The garlic cheese Nan bread was lovely two
Rice was just rice and chips was fry’s
We ordered a bottle off wine
Personally yet again we’d off like that in a chiller but it was cold
So wasn’t really an issue
Just two little things we’d off liked to make this meal 10/10 outstanding
The pineapple and the wine cooler that’s all
But we would highly recommend this Indian restaurant
The staff was also very polite and friendly xx
We booked up based in reviews and the food did not disappoint. The actual restaurant is in desperate need of re decoration and is quite off putting along with the… read more very grubby carpet. The food was excellent though and service relaxed and friendly.
Really great indian food at an affodable price in London! Calm atmosphere after a busy day. Lovely service too! Thank you for the welcome!
Really tasty Indian food (chicken tikka misala and saag aloo), fair prices for quality and quantity of food, and satiating portions.
Ordered on Deliveroo, so can’t comment on… read more the service or restaurant ambiance.
Would recommend if you’re craving Indian cuisine, and would order from them again.
Portion was small and pricey with 10% service charged on top. Okay it’s Paddington so £40 for 2 (small) biryanis, a naan and 2 soft drinks is maybe the going… read more price.
The restaurant is tatty inside, paint missing on walls, dirty old ceiling tiles. In need of a good clean and refurb. Smells damp in the back. Had chicken biryani, it was not what a proper Indian biryani should be. It looked and tasted like a mildly spiced rice with some chicken breast chunks added. Would definitely not go back. Good thing is the location but there are lots of other restaurants arond.
Welcomed into nice warm environment with a smile. We were advised there was seating at the back but chose to seat just opposite the bar, tables are close together but… read more not a hinderance. Did not have a starter but had some popadoms and chutneys and they were very nice. The vegetable curry was just as requested and the chilli chicken was madress spice level and just right. The Naan though, they were delicious ! Fresh and just nice. Overall a great experience, I would make a point of going back.
This restaurant was round the corner from my hotel. Just fancied Indian food and decided off the cuff to go here.
Was a busy Saturday night…but got in. Staff… read more apologetic of wait for food and it being so busy. No need, food was served in good time and understood why it was busy. I just appreciated you were able to get me a table.
Staff were really friendly and there was a traditional selection of Indian delicacies to try. I ordered a starter( was slightly lukewarm, but tasted great). Curry was fantastic as were rice and naan.
It’s a bit dated ,the decor ,and could do with a spruce up….but I loved the food so much…I went back the next night !
We took the luxury menu. The food was excellent especially the chicken tandoori, lamb madras and the butter chicken. If the service wasn’t really slow, I’d give 5 in rating… read more but it took around an hour to get the main courses which was disappointing.
But really worth the visit.
